The goal of the project was to create attractive internal courtyards that would serve as recreational spaces for the residents of the housing estate. Considering the fact that the investment site was located above an underground parking area, we decided to design islands with naturally shaped hills, providing space for large trees, mainly birches. These green islands, with their varied heights, create smaller interior spaces that are perfect for passive relaxation.

The entire project was complemented by elements of small architecture, such as concrete seating and sail-shaped canopies. These subtle additions create secluded resting areas right under the windows of neighbors, forming a harmonious space where one can relax and unwind.
Materials: light and dark-colored concrete
Plants: birch Betula, Rhododendron, hornbeam Carpinus, spindle Euonymus fortunei as well as intermingling groups of low-growing perennial and shrubbery mounds.
